ANOINTING OF THE SICK

By the sacred anointing of the sick and the power of the priests, the whole church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up an save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the goo of the people of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.

The sacrament is administered when the need arises. The sacrament may be administered at time of death, or at a time os serious illness. It may also be given to those who face serious surgery or who fraility becomes more pronounced.

For emergencies, call the rectory at any time.  Otherwise, please call the Parish Office at 610.459.2203 to schedule an appointment for the Anointing of the Sick. Every effort will be made to celebrate the Sacrament of the Sick within 48 hours of it being requested. Please call the Parish Office to request a visit from an Extra Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion to receive the Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings.
