In honor of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, a Blessing of Animals will take place on Saturday, October 5th at 9:15 am to 10:00 am in the church parking lot. Any parishioners who would like their pet to be blessed are warmly invited to bring along their family pet for a special blessing. We just ask that owners take care to keep their pets on a leash or in an appropriate travel cage.
A Special Presentation for Ministry Volunteers will be held at the Church of St. Joseph (lower level) on Sunday, October 6 at 12:30 pm. Guest Speaker Fr. Simon Herrmann, OBS has customized a presentation geared specifically for parish volunteers. Fr. Simon will encourage us to use the virtues of St. Benedict, as we continue in our ministries and beyond. All parishioners who volunteer in any aspect with our parish are invited to attend.
As part of our Triduum at the Church of St. Joseph, a Mass with Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 7th at 10;30 am. If you are of advanced age with physical illness or any emotional burdens and would like to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick during Mass, please notify the parish office by September 30th. The Church of St. Joseph parish is now live streaming their 6:30 am Daily Mass, Monday through Friday, their 8:30 am Daily Mass on Saturday and the Sunday 6:30 am Mass.
