My first priority is that we are safe. Please know that it is okay to stay home and not come to Church in the event or the anticipation of inclement weather or its aftereffects. This is amplified in that we also rely on priests who travel in as well to celebrate Mass. The priest for Mass may be prevented from making it in.
On that basis, I believe it is best to follow the below steps in the event of a weather emergency or the effects/anticipation of severe weather.
In the event of inclement weather or the prediction of the same for
weekends, a decision will be made as early as possible as to closing of the Church and for various meetings of ministries.
Please consult the sources indicated at the bottom of this sheet to be updated before setting out to come to Mass/activities. If we cancel for Mass, then the Church building, parish office, the Fr. Walsh Center will also be closed. All activities including any meetings & events will be cancelled.
For
weekdays, the process will be very much the same, including for daily Mass.
Again, please consult the sources indicated at the bottom of this sheet to be updated before setting out to come to Mass/activities. If there is a funeral scheduled, please contact the parish office or the funeral director for updates.
